When arriving in one of the most amazing locations in the world, sin city, Nevada, I could not help but think about how appealing my Employer’s meetings would be. I knew it was a time for serious choices and keeping a clear mind, the meetings were a great success and it was now time to relax and play in my environment of dazzling lights and all night Las Vegas entertainment.
My first encounter in my luxurious hotel’s casino floor was the sound of a lady behind the roulette tables cheering for joy after getting a jackpot of over twelve thousand dollars on a slot machine that took quarters and the audience that had gathered around her appear to be to be just as excited for the lady as she was for herself. That is satisfaction!
Me, well, I have always preferred blackjack betting along with poker, european and american roulette and baccarat so I hunted down a twenty-one table where I could try my hand at it. The Vegas hotels are always totally full of gamers. Every player around me seemed willing to part with their betting $$$$ and their wagering elation were high and I fell right in with them and laid my bet. Lost my first 2 hands but as I anticipated, after thirty mins and two croupiers into my evening, I fled the chemin de fer table $400 ahead. That is fun!
An excellent achievement for a novice casino player such as my myself.
